The Privacy Blueprint is a UK-based GDPR consultancy for businesses. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our website at theprivacyblueprint.co.uk or engage with our services.
If you send us an email or enquire about our services, we collect your name, email address, and any information you choose to share. We use this to respond to your enquiry and, where you become a client, to deliver our services. The legal basis is legitimate interests (responding to your direct contact) or contract performance.
When you book a discovery call via our booking link (Google Calendar), you provide your name and email address. This is processed by Google LLC under their own privacy policy. We use the information to fulfil your booking. The legal basis is contract performance.
Purchases are processed through Beacons.ai. When you buy a template, Beacons collects your payment and contact details on our behalf. We receive your name and email address to fulfil your order and provide download access. Beacons acts as a data processor. The legal basis is contract performance.
If you sign up to be notified about upcoming templates, we collect your name and email address via a form on our website. This form is processed by Netlify, Inc. (USA) as part of their Forms service. We use this information solely to notify you when the relevant template is available. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing hello@theprivacyblueprint.co.uk.
Our free health check tool is hosted separately at the-privacy-blueprint.vercel.app, hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). Any data you enter into the health check tool is not transmitted to us and is processed in accordance with Vercel's privacy policy. We do not receive identifiable data from the health check tool.
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). Netlify automatically records server logs that may include your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time and date of your request. These logs are used by Netlify for security and operational purposes. We do not use this data for profiling or tracking. Netlify's data processing is covered by their privacy policy and standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the UK.
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA). When your browser loads these fonts, your IP address is transmitted to Google's servers. No cookie is set by Google Fonts. The transfer to Google in the USA is covered by Google's standard contractual clauses.
Client records are retained for six years from the end of our engagement, in line with standard UK business record-keeping requirements. Enquiry emails where no services are purchased are deleted within 12 months. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (subject to any legal obligations we have to retain it).
We do not sell your personal data. We share your data only with the following third-party processors where necessary to deliver our services:
Some of our processors are based outside the UK (including the USA). Where this is the case, we rely on standard contractual clauses approved by the UK ICO, or equivalent safeguards, to ensure your data is protected to UK GDPR standards.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; restrict or object to our processing; and in some cases, request data portability.
